Lebanese Hummus

Hummus, a Lebanese staple, found at all dinner tables and enjoyed by both young and old. This hummus recipe will have you wanting more. Garlicky and smooth, it hits the spot!

Ingredients

  • 1 can of chickpeas
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 2 lemons
  • 4 tbsp tahini
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1/4c water

1. Boil canned chickpeas on stove for two min.

2. Peel 3 cloves of garlic.

3. Once chickpeas have cooled slightly add all ingredients to food processor and blend until smooth and creamy.

4. Before serving add some extra virgin olive oil, plate and serve with pita bread.
